SALISBURY, MD – A “torch” has been passed from Jack and Ruth Ann Savage, owners of Jack’s Religious Gift Shop, to Aquilla and Ron Cain, owners of Thirst No More Christian Store in Salisbury, Maryland.

After Family Christian stores, the largest retailer of Christian books and merchandize in the United States, closed all its stores in 2017, Aquilla Cain, dared to open her own. She named it Thirst No More Christian Store. Cain weathered many storms that small businesses experience, including the economic downturn associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, Cain has acquired the remaining inventory of Jack’s Religious Gift Shop, which served the Salisbury area for over 60 years. Having closed their store, the Savages are entrusting their Kingdom Work to Cain. “We are looking forward to seeing Thirst No More grow. We trust that all who supported us for the past 62 years will support them as well.”

Thirst No More’s Mission is to provide an exceptional experience for guests in store and on-line.  They not only supply products to aid one’s Christian walk, they support people through life struggles and needs.  Cain explains, “Thirst No More is a safe place to unmask yourself and just be.  Inspired by Galatians 5:22-23, we love, serve and treat everyone with respect and kindness.”
