Salisbury, MD. & Seaford, DE. — TidalHealth is pleased to announce the following four Team Members of the Year:

TidalHealth Nanticoke’s 2024 Clinical Team Member of the Year

Julie Glasco, RN, of the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is TidalHealth Nanticoke’s 2024 Clinical Team Member of the Year.

Glasco is described as a well-rounded and valuable asset to CDU. A team player at all times, she is always ready to jump in and help with whatever is needed, no questions asked, work any shift as needed, and with a “go with the flow” approach.

Because of her flexible, positive and bubbly personality, Glasco is a joy to work with and an exceptional patient advocate. Whether this is ensuring the proper discharge plan, the patient’s overall plan of care with the doctor, or spending extra time teaching the patient to ensure compliance, she always goes the extra mile.

TidalHealth Nanticoke’s 2024 Non-Clinical Team Member of the Year

Megan Hamilton, PharmD, of TidalHealth Home Scripts is TidalHealth Nanticoke’s 2024 Non-Clinical Team Member of the Year.

Hamilton was nominated for her kindness, patience and unwavering dedication to addressing any medication questions or concerns. She goes above and beyond to understand everyone’s needs and works diligently to find solutions. Despite her relatively short time in the role, Hamilton has built strong relationships with physicians, patients and team members — a feat that typically takes years.

During a recent snowstorm, TidalHealth Nanticoke’s Home Scripts pharmacy had to close early. While all patients were safely discharged earlier, one patient later decided they would prefer to go home rather than stay in the hospital during the storm. Before the patient could be safely discharged, they needed their medications from Home Scripts. Hamilton drove back during the storm to ensure the patient could be safely discharged and enjoy the beautiful snow from the comfort of their home.

TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 2024 Clinical Team Member of the Year

Carly Mann, RN, of 3 Layfield is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 2024 Clinical Team Member of the Year.

Mann is a dedicated and compassionate nurse whose TidalHealth career began as a CNA on 3 East. After demonstrating exceptional skill and commitment, she transitioned into an oncology nursing role on the same unit before deciding to broaden her expertise by transferring to the cardiac step-down unit. She quickly embraced her new responsibilities as a cardiac nurse and has flourished in this role.

What sets Mann apart is her innate ability to connect with her patients. Her compassion and genuine care, especially for geriatric patients, are qualities that cannot be taught — they are simply part of who she is. Whether rounding on 3 Layfield or assisting patients with daily activities, her bedside manner shines through. She takes time to engage, educate and comfort her patients in a way that consistently exceeds expectations.

TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 2024 Non-Clinical Team Member of the Year

Taylor Luck of the TidalHealth Child Care Center is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 2024 Non-Clinical Team Member of the Year.

Luck exemplifies the life-changing work that teachers do each and every day. Even on tough mornings/days, she is able to pick up on her students’ mood changes or tell that something is wrong, and she’s great at communicating things like this with parents as needed. She goes above and beyond to teach the next generation of dreamers, doers, leaders and world-changers for a brighter and more inclusive world for all.

As an avid reader and incredible supporter of early childhood literacy, Luck frequently visits the Wicomico Public Library to check out as many as 30 books a week for her students. Since starting her TidalHealth career in the summer of 2021, the library estimates that Luck has saved TidalHealth over $4 million in book costs!
