Salisbury, MD — On Thursday, Oct. 12, Jill Stone, Senior Director of Physical Medicine at TidalHealth and a breast cancer survivor, visited The Giving House in Salisbury, Md. to present a check totaling $11,000 to the TidalHealth Foundation to support its Drive to Mobile Mammography.

The funds were raised by Jill’s annual breast cancer fundraiser, “Pink for a Purpose,” which was held on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Jill’s home in Somerset County and included food, drinks, music and a silent auction. Since its inception four years ago, the fundraiser has generated and donated over $53,000, the majority of which has gone directly to the TidalHealth Foundation to be used for patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The TidalHealth Foundation extends its sincerest thanks to Jill for her continued support of our local breast cancer patients. To learn more about the Drive to Mobile Mammography including ways you can support the cause, visit tidalhealth.org/savelives.
