Administrative & Support Services- Rebekah Shirey, Supply Chain Operations Assistant, Purchasing
Shirey was recognized for doing an excellent job keeping her unit stocked with not only the essentials, but also patient specific items. She always checks in with staff in regard to their weekly and weekend needs and patient expectations and is very knowledgeable about the item specific to the success of her unit.
Those who nominated her say every time they contact Rebekah, she goes above and beyond to deliver quickly and always with a kind demeanor.
Professional Services- Megan Hamilton, Pharmacist, TidalHealth HomeScripts
Hamilton was nominated for her kindness, patience, and her unwavering dedication to addressing any medication questions or concerns. She goes above and beyond to understand everyone’s needs and works diligently to find solutions. Despite her relatively short time in the role, Megan has built strong relationships with physicians, patients, and employees—a feat that typically takes years.

Nursing Services- Julie Glasco, RN, Clinical Decision Unit (CDU)
Glasco is described as a well-rounded and valuable asset to CDU. A team player at all times, Julie is always ready to jump in and help with whatever is needed, no questions asked, work any shift as needed, and with a “go with the flow” approach.
Because of her flexible, positive and bubbly personality, she’s a joy to work with, and an exceptional patient advocate.
Julie is a great educator not only to the patients, but for students or new nurses orienting on CDU. She’s very thorough and detailed and a great representative of the unit and hospital. She also works her fair share of night shifts, proving to be versatile and again a huge asset.
Nursing Services- Jennifer Horner, RN, Medical Surgical Unit (MSU)
Horner consistently embodies the qualities that define an exceptional nurse within our organization. Regardless of the challenges of her shift or the attitudes around her, Jen consistently maintains a positive outlook, beginning to end of every shift, and always with a smile.
She eagerly assists other departments, takes on new responsibilities, and plays a pivotal role in mentoring and supporting our new staff members on the unit.
As a Charge Nurse, Jen has proven her reliability through her consistent performance and adept handling of difficult situations. She exemplifies our organization’s values and consistently demonstrates dedication as both a professional and a role model.
