Salisbury, MD — TidalHealth has partnered with Pulse Radiology Institute to expand ARRT-accredited education and training for imaging professionals, strengthening the health system’s diagnostic imaging workforce across Delmarva.

Through TidalHealth’s upskilling program, team members can complete accredited training in CT, MRI, and mammography and earn more than 25 Category A continuing education credits recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

TidalHealth will also host clinical rotations for Pulse Radiology’s MRI Associate of Science program, creating a pathway for team members without a radiologic technologist license to pursue careers in MRI.

“Working with innovative partners such as TidalHealth is closely aligned with our purpose as a leading educator of imaging professionals,” said Nader Qaimari, CEO of Edcetera, parent company of Pulse Radiology Institute. “Their foresight and commitment to upskilling their team to address the growing labor shortage affecting centers across the nation make them the ideal partner.”

TidalHealth has enrolled its first student and expects to add more participants soon.

“This collaboration not only empowers our licensed technologists to expand into new modalities like CT, MRI and mammography, but also opens doors for individuals seeking entry-level MRI training,” said Charles Dolan, DHSc, MBA, CPHQ, CPHRM, FACHE, FRSPH, TidalHealth’s vice president of clinical operations. “It’s a significant step toward strengthening our workforce and improving access to high-quality diagnostic imaging for the communities we serve.”
