Salisbury, MD — Before you gear up for your Thanksgiving feast, lace up your running shoes for the Turkey Trek 5K on Thursday, Nov. 27 at Pemberton Park in Salisbury.
Participants can try to outrun Mr. Gobble Gobble and enjoy refreshments and holiday pie after crossing the finish line. Chip timing will be available for all runners, and awards will be presented for overall male and female winners, best Thanksgiving costume, and age group winners.
Proceeds from the Turkey Trek 5K support Pemberton Nature Camp and other environmental education programs, helping fund outdoor learning opportunities for local youth.
Race Details: Check-in begins at 7 a.m., the race starts at 8 a.m. with a warm-up provided by Driven Physiotherapy. Preregistration is available through Friday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m., On-site registration is available the day of the event from 7–7:45 a.m. (cards only; no cash).
