Salisbury, MD — Salisbury University’s online graduate programs again have been ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report.

SU’s online M.Ed. Program was ranked for the first time as one of the top programs in the U.S. (No. 223 out of 323). For the eighth year, the publication rated SU’s online M.B.A. Program among the best in the U.S. (No. 172 out of 364). SU’s online M.S. in Nursing Program also was ranked among the country’s best (No. 105 out of 201).

Selections for the programs were based on criteria including student engagement and excellence, faculty credentials and training, technology and peer assessment.

“SU has always made it a priority to meet students where they are, and this is particularly important for our graduate programs which include students who may be working full time, or unable to physically attend classes on campus,” said SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre.

“As a leader in teacher education in the region, we are particularly proud to have our online M.Ed. program recognized, along with continued acknowledgement of our M.B.A. and Nursing programs as some of the best in the nation. On campus or off, our high-impact programs are making a difference in the lives of our students, our graduates, and the communities they serve.”

Last fall, U.S. News announced additional rankings for SU, placing it at No. 45 out of 170 public and private U.S. institutions in the “Best Regional Universities – North” category, No. 21 among the region’s “Best Colleges for Veterans,” and No. 18 among public institutions in the region.

The University also was recognized as one of the “Top Performers on Social Mobility” and for having one of the “Best Bachelor of Science in Nursing Programs.”
