United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore (UWLES) is excited to bring back the United Way Open Golf Tournament on Friday, May 3! This year, players will spend the day on the green at Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, MD. They will enjoy a socially distanced afternoon of networking, food and drinks, and fun incentives along the beautiful Wicomico River.
The year’s event will be a scramble that kicks off with registration and a bagged lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. During the tournament, players can compete for prizes such as the Top 3 for Gross & Net, closest to the pin, and a hole-in-one competition. The afternoon will end with a presentation of all the winners from the round.
Registrations for team sponsorship packages, non-team sponsorships, and onsite player bundles are available online at https://www.uwles.org/UnitedWayOpen. All proceeds from this event will stay local for UWLES and their nonprofit partners, helping to impact one in three neighbors who are still struggling in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties.
