The schedule for the Fire & Ice Festival taking place this weekend (January 31st – February 2nd) has been updated to skip some of the forecasted rain on Friday morning and maximize the weekend fun! Ice sculptures will now be featured Friday, Saturday & Sunday! Please note key changes below and visit Fireandicede.com for a fully updated schedule.
On Friday, January 31st, Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery will be hosting food trucks, a DJ, and an ice drink luge in addition to a spectacular display of ice sculptures. The drink luge will be open at 2:30PM and the remaining sculptures will be revealed at 4PM. An 1,800 lb live ice carving display, sponsored by Taylor Bank is set to begin at 5:30PM.
All Saturday Festivities and Ice Sculpture Tours in John West Park and Downtown Bethany Beach will take place as originally scheduled!
All activities and ice sculptures in Evans Park in Millville will take place on Sunday, February 2nd from 11AM to 6PM. The live ice carving demonstration will begin at 11:30AM and a live performance by the Decade 80 band will be on the pavilion from 2PM to 4PM. Additional activities will include the “Magma” volcano, s’mores with the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, food trucks, scavenger hunt, facepainting and more!
All previously scheduled Friday activities in John West Park and Bethany Beach will also take place on Sunday, February 2nd. Food trucks and the John West Park Beer Garden, featuring a 900 square foot inflatable pub, will be open on Sunday between 11AM to 6PM with tastings from 12PM to 3PM. Sunday in Bethany Beach will feature the 1,800 square foot skating rink at the Garfield Parkway parking lot and the inflatable kingdom at the playground with activities for children of all ages. Don’t miss the live performance by entertainer Boston Bachert will be on the bandstand stage at 1PM.
All Tasting Tour ticket holders can pick up their Tasting Tour cards with a valid ID at the Community Center at John West Park, 32 West Ave in Ocean View, on Friday, January 31st from 12PM to 8PM or Saturday from 11AM to 4PM
