Basking Ridge, NJ – Verizon has announced the appointment of Chris Flood as the Senior Vice President and Market President of Verizon’s Atlantic North Market. In this role, Flood will be responsible for overseeing all consumer sales, distribution, and operational execution across the market’s 12 states and the District of Columbia, leading a team of more than 2,800 employees, managing 286 corporate stores, and responsible for a region covering over 1,100 indirect stores and nearly the entire Verizon Fios footprint.

Flood is a distinguished leader with a remarkable 22-year career at Verizon, during which he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of success. Flood’s leadership philosophy centers on fostering a positive culture, firmly believing that when you build a great culture, the results will naturally follow. In the Atlantic North Market, he has cultivated a culture of integrity, performance excellence, transparency, and a strong commitment to giving back to the communities Verizon serves. In his previous role, Flood served as the Consumer Vice President of Verizon Consumer Group’s Northeast Region, where he led corporate retail and indirect sales. He also held the position of Vice President – Strategic Partners, where he spearheaded strategy and performance for outsourced partners that delivered customer service capabilities to more than 100 million mobile and Fios consumers.
He is a graduate of Strayer University, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and began his career at Verizon as a retail sales representative in Long Island, NY. Chris resides in Flemington, NJ, with his wife, four children, and two dogs, exemplifying his commitment to both his family and his community.
