VFC-Delmarva Holds First Ever Multi-Car Award Event

Vehicles for Change

VFC’s inaugural multi-car award event at our Salisbury branch. Celebrating those who live will be positively impacted with this newfound freedom.

Salisbury, MD.—VFC-Delmarva, a local non-profit automotive training program, will be holding its first ever multi-car award event this month. The Salisbury branch has only been open for less than three years, marking this a monumental milestone as VFC continues to establish a foothold in the community.

For this event, the awardees, are all members our of community. One awardee is a graduated intern that works at Pep-Boys in Salisbury, another works at Pohanka CDJR, and our final awardee, is a mother of two who is a shift supervisor at our local CVS.

The event will be held on Friday, March 14th 12 p.m., and will occur on-site at the Salisbury location. Those who attend will also be able to tour the facility, and become familiar with our program’s daily activities.

We would like to extend a huge thanks to all of our community partners who have helped us get to this point. Without their continual efforts, we would have not been able to achieve these breakthroughs, and we look forward to growing further.

Who We Are

In 1999, Vehicles for Change opened outside of Baltimore, Maryland. After building sustainable car award and automotive training programs in the Maryland-Virginia-Washington D.C. region, VFC began work to replicate those programs nationally, aiming to bring independent transportation and training in the automotive field to as many people as possible. In June of 2022 Vehicles For Change opened in Salisbury Maryland.
