Wor-Wic Community College is inviting the public to a free virtual poetry reading with Bruce Bond on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m., via Zoom.
Bond is the author of 28 books, including “Blackout Starlight: New and Selected Poems 1997-2015,” “Rise and Fall of the Lesser Sun Gods,” “Frankenstein’s Children,” “Dear Reader,” “Words Written Against the Walls of the City,” “Scar,” “The Calling,” “Behemoth,” winner of the 2019-20 New Criterion Poetry Prize, and “Patmos,” which received a Juniper Prize for Poetry. His work has appeared in many journals and anthologies. He is a regents professor emeritus of English at the University of North Texas and performs classical and jazz guitar in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
