Salisbury, MD — Wicomico County has launched a new Comprehensive Plan website to provide residents, businesses, property owners, community organizations, and other stakeholders with information and opportunities to participate in the update of the County’s Comprehensive Plan.
The website serves as a central hub for the planning process, offering project background, updates, public engagement opportunities, meeting information, and ways for community members to share input. The Comprehensive Plan will establish a long-term vision for Wicomico County over the next 10 to 20 years and will guide decisions related to land use, transportation, economic development, community facilities, infrastructure, growth areas, and natural and historic resource conservation.
Community participation will be a key part of the planning process. Through the website, the public can access the community survey, learn about upcoming public meetings and visioning sessions, review project materials, and submit questions or comments to the planning team.
