Salisbury, MD — Faith Over Fear Economic Empowerment Inc., in partnership with Wicomico County NAACP#7028B and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated Inc.-Delta Sigma Omega Chapter, is proud to present “Wicomico County Votes: Meet Your Candidate at the Park,” a community-centered event designed to connect residents directly with candidates running for local office.
This unique, family-friendly initiative will take place across multiple parks throughout Wicomico County, offering voters a relaxed and accessible environment to engage with candidates, ask questions, and learn more about the issues impacting their districts.
The event aims to increase voter awareness, encourage civic participation, and ensure every voice in the community is informed and empowered ahead of upcoming elections.
Attendees will also have access to:
- Voter registration assistance
- Voter education resources
- Polling place information
- Opportunities to connect with local organizations
Members of Faith Over Fear Economic Empowerment Inc, along with members of Wicomico County NAACP#7028B and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated Inc.-Delta Sigma Omega Chapter will be on-site to provide support and resources to help residents navigate the voting process.
Residents are encouraged to download the “Go Vote MD” app prior to attending to identify their district and polling location. Participants who show they have downloaded the app may be eligible for a special giveaway.

ALL candidates are invited to participate, and all residents are encouraged to attend, regardless of political affiliation.
