Salisbury, MD (August 29, 2024)— On August 29th Hebron Savings Bank sponsors two new Habitat Homes on Grace Street in Salisbury with a $25,000 donation.
Hebron Savings Bank, located throughout the lower eastern shore MD, has been a partner for Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County for many years and we are grateful for their generous donation to assist the two home builds.
Christina Williams, Director of Development at Wicomico Habitat said, “Hebron Savings Bank’s recognition of the need for affordable homeownership in Wicomico County shows that they are truly invested in our community. We are grateful for the longstanding relationship we have with Hebron Savings Bank and look forward to many more years of partnership.”
“The work that Habitat does in our community is so much more than building homes; it is building a community and changing lives,” said Jennifer Poulsen, CEO of Hebron Savings Bank. “Hebron Savings Bank is proud to be part of a program that builds a better future for Wicomico County.”
Wicomico Habitat will break ground on these two lots at 714 & 716 Grace Street in a short ceremony on September 5, with construction to begin on the first home soon after. The public is invited to attend the 11:00 a.m. groundbreaking ceremony.
