More than 50 volunteers participated in the Wicomico Paddle Partnership River Clean Up on Saturday, October 24. Mayor Elect Jake Day and County Councilman Matt Holloway participated in the event.
Hosted by the Salisbury Area Chamber Beautification Committee in partnership with Salisbury University Environmental Studies Department (they donated the canoes and kayaks)
Throughout the event, more than 15 bags of trash were collected.
Thank you to the Salisbury City of Public Works Dept. for picking up the trash and taking it to the landfill.
