Wicomico Public Libraries, in partnership with Wicomico County Public Schools, is excited to introduce the new Student Virtual Library Card. All students in grades 1-12 in Wicomico County Public Schools now have access to the information and services offered at Wicomico Public Libraries, no library card needed.
At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 we will announce this partnership of Wicomico Public Libraries and Wicomico County Public Schools in Mrs. Jennifer’s Shupe’s 4th-Grade classroom at Northwestern Elementary in Mardela Springs. Mrs. Shupe’s students will help us demonstrate how they can now reserve and check out library materials using their school meal number. This event will include a short library lesson in the classroom, comments by Libraries Executive Director Andrea Berstler and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Donna Hanlin, and a class visit to the Bookmobile parked in front of the school.
