Salisbury, MD – Wicomico County’s Recreation division returns with a series of environmental education programs that will take place at various County parks this spring.
“We are excited to connect with our community by showcasing our beautiful parks and offering environmental education,” said Recreation Program Specialist Catie Hamel. “People of all ages will have the opportunity to explore the natural wonders of the shore in a fun-filled atmosphere.”
Nature Walks
- Trees: Saturday, March 16, 11 A.M. | Pemberton Park | All Ages
- Learn how to identify trees, why they change colors, and how they benefit humans and wildlife
- Senses: Saturday, April 6, 11 A.M. | Leonard’s Mill Park | All Ages
- Using all five senses, families will learn about and connect with nature during a guided walk

Families with young children are invited to participate in a group story time.
