On April 25th the Chamber’s Women’s Network held a Volunteer Fair and Gently Loved clothing drive. Women from all different businesses within the Chamber came out to peruse the tables set up by 10+ Volunteer organizations covering 4 of the counties on the eastern shore. Each group also had a minute during our lunch to talk about their opportunities for volunteering in our area. Many caught a bite of lunch and networking as well. The clothes gathered are being donated directly to women entering the workforce or rejoining the workforce that do not have the means to create a full professional wardrobe of their own. Thank you to all who donated to the cause. 
The next event being held by the Women’s Network is a fun evening of networking in a casual atmosphere. It will be held on May 18th from 6-9pm at Layton’s Chance Winery. For more information on the group and how to become a part of it, please call Cathie @ 410-749-0144.
