Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed Melissa P. Thomas of Salisbury as an instructor of early childhood education.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in post-secondary education from Salisbury University.
She has held teaching and administration positions for local K-12 schools since 2002 and has taught as a part-time faculty member at Wor-Wic since 2016.
Anna Era of Hebron joined Wor-Wic as benefits coordinator.
Era holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salisbury University and SHRM-CP and PHR certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute, respectively.
She has almost 30 years of experience in human resources, most recently serving as human resource manager at Apple Discount Drugs in Fruitland.
Also recently welcomed to Wor-Wic was Dara L. Phillips of Parsonsburg as assistant professor of communication studies.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from Salisbury University and a master’s degree in communication studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.
Phillips has been teaching communication courses at Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla., since 2009.
