
The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation recently welcomed Dr. Kathryn Fiddler of Eden and Dominic Powell of Odenton, Md., to its board of directors.
Fiddler is the vice president of population health at TidalHealth in Salisbury, where she oversees behavioral health, care coordination, school-based wellness clinics, community health programs, Alice B. Tawes Nursing and Rehabilitation, Chesapeake Cove and the TidalHealth Richard A. Henson Research Institute. A retired major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, she is a registered nurse and has an associate degree from Wor-Wic, bachelor’s and master’s degrees and a doctor of nursing practice degree from Salisbury University, and a master’s in business administration from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Powell is vice president of business development and partnerships at Educational Systems Federal Credit union in Greenbelt, Md.. where he leads initiatives that build partnerships with community colleges, school systems and education-focused organizations. He is a Maryland native and attended the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata before joining the workforce, beginning his career in finance in 2008. He has been with Educational Systems Federal Credit Union for seven years and is currently enrolled in the University of Maryland Global Campus. Powell is also a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves, where he is a master at arms.
