Wor-Wic Holds 20th Annual Golf Tournament

Wor-Wic Community College recently held its 20th annual golf tournament at the college’s Ocean Resorts Golf Club in Berlin. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the college’s on-campus child development center.

This year’s top team with the lowest gross score was the Hebron Savings Bank team of Jason Beauchamp, Tim Boston, Ernie Wagner and Sam Witte, followed by the Peninsula Orthopaedic team of Rob Becker, Thomas Brandon, Eric Jamrok and Pat Lamboni. Third place went to the TidalHealth team of Warner Crumb, Roger Follebout, Chris Hall and Tom Jones.

The top team with the lowest net score was the BBSI team of Phillip Cheung, Jim Fuss, Philip Messick and Tony Nichols, followed by the Long & Foster team of  Mark Sartorio and Mike Sullivan. Third place in net score went to the Integra Administrative Group team of Eddie Downes, Weldon Lemke, Kris Smith and Chris Theis.

Longest drive winners were Renee Sheehy and Mike Sise. Winner of the putting contest was Phillip Cheung. Closest to the pin prizes were awarded to Don Amann, Dwayne Austin, Phil Bankert, Joe Gordy and Brian Shockley.
