
Twenty-two Wor-Wic Community College students participated in an induction ceremony for the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at the college campus in Salisbury.
Advisors of the chapter include Dr. Dana Burnside, professor of communication studies, and Juley Harper, associate professor of English.
Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for community college students. The Alpha Nu Omicron chapter was chartered at Wor-Wic in September of 1987.

Students from Wicomico County recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College included Darline Biennevil, Noah Davis, Barrie Dennis, Gearan Garrison-Wright, Gyvven Garrison-Wright, Emma Harris, April Dawn Joudrey, Alena Morgan, Tiffany Vazquez-Figueroa and Adele Vogt of Salisbury; Isabella Kirby of Quantico; Anna Painter of Mardela Springs; and Kris Watson of Fruitland.
