Wor-Wic Community College will hold a Community Arts Showcase of Excellence event on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the college campus at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
The event will feature renowned local musicians, poets, dancers and other creators who will perform their work throughout the evening. There will be a marketplace of artists and artisans where visitors can purchase locally made works and view exhibits. The event will also offer free, interactive workshops and children’s activities. There will be activities for the whole family, including a community mural painting with Brandon Bell of We Are Limitless Studios.
The arts showcase is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Visual and literary arts will be featured in the Hazel Center, and performances will be held in Guerrieri Hall.
