Wor-Wic To Host Virtual Poetry Reading On Feb. 22

Virtual poetry reading to be held Feb. 22.

Wor-Wic Community College is inviting the public to a free virtual poetry reading with Tyree Daye on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m., via Zoom.

Daye is the author of two poetry collections: “River Hymns,” a 2017 APR/Honickman First Book Prize winner, and “Cardinal.” Daye’s work has been published in Prairie Schooner, the New York Times and Nashville Review. Daye won the 2019 Palm Beach Poetry Festival Langston Hughes Fellowship and the 2019 Whiting Writers Award. He was the 2019 Diana and Simon Raab Writer-In-Residence at University of California-Santa Barbara.
