Wor-Wic to offer free financial technology webinars
Wor-Wic Community College is offering free webinars on financial technology, or fintech, in November and December. The four sessions are the college’s first venture with its partner school in India, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University.
Fintech explores how technology is changing money and finance, such as online banking, apps, digital payments and cryptocurrency. The live, online sessions will also offer question-and-answer sessions for participants. All will be held at 8:30 a.m. Dates and topics include:
- Nov. 6: The Global Fintech Ecosystem
- Nov. 13: Financial Inclusion and Leadership
- Nov. 20: Future-Proof Careers and Emerging Job Roles
- Dec. 4: The Role of Global Capability Centers in Driving Innovation

Symbiosis Skills & Professional University trains more than 10,000 students every year in various certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A recent memorandum of understanding with Wor-Wic that was signed in August will allow more collaboration and exchange between the two schools.
