Salisbury, MD — Women Supporting Women is pleased to announce the addition of Aliyah Frolich as the organization’s new part-time Mentoring Coordinator!
WSW supporters may recall Aliyah from her internship in the Fall of 2025, where she coordinated the Breast Cancer 101 Conference, supported community outreach efforts, and contributed to event planning and survivor services.
Aliyah is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with a minor in Sociology at Salisbury University, where she is active in club lacrosse, SGA, and community volunteer projects which have strengthened her skills in teamwork, leadership, and creativity. Her academic focus, including courses in medical sociology and biological behavior, has sparked her passion for public policy and healthcare advocacy. In her spare time, Aliyah enjoys pursuing hobbies in art, fitness, and baking.
A personal experience with a family member’s cancer journey first drew Aliyah to WSW. “My internship made me feel connected to the work on a personal level,” she shared. “WSW’s mission to support, educate, and empower Survivors aligns deeply with my values, and I knew I wanted to continue contributing to that environment.”
Aliyah plans to pursue graduate studies, including an MBA in Conflict and Analysis Dispute, followed by law school, with aspirations of working in medical malpractice law or healthcare policy. In her new role, she hopes to bring “compassion, consistency, and meaningful connections” to the local community of survivors.
WSW thanks Aliyah for her dedication and commitment to helping the organization get through their busiest time of the year. They look forward to the continued drive and passion she brings to the organization and can’t wait to see how she benefits Delmarva.
