Leighton Moore Award

PRMC ESTABLISHES LEIGHTON MOORE HELPING HAND AWARD

At their annual meeting on Thursday, October 2, the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees at Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) announced the establishment of the Leighton Moore Helping Hand Award.

The award honors Moore, owner and creator of Seacrets Ocean City and Chairman of the Peninsula Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors, for his generosity, dedication and commitment to PRMC. “Leighton has donated an extraordinary amount of his personal time to raise funds for our Medical Center with the sole purpose of expanding and improving the healthcare services we offer to our community,” said Dr. Peggy Naleppa, PRMC President/CEO. “Through his passion, he is an example to all.”

The Leighton Moore Helping Hand Award will be presented annually to the PRMC employee who, like the award’s namesake, demonstrates a passion for community service, and contributes above and beyond in efforts to improve the health and overall well-being of their community.
