Our coalition partners throughout the State are united behind a common vision to boost Maryland’s innovation economy, create jobs, and enrich the lives of all Marylanders. Attend the conference to learn more about:
Maryland’s Business Climate: Hear from Norm Augustine, former Lockheed Martin CEO who is Chairman of the Maryland Economic Development and Business Climate Commission. The commission was established by the General Assembly’s presiding officers to make recommendations to improve the State’s economic development efforts, with an eye on making Maryland more competitive. The recommendations are due in December.

Maryland Innovation: Learn more about a few of the innovative technologies and companies that will drive Maryland’s economic growth.

Economic Development: Hear from a panel of economic development, tech transfer and investment professionals on the state of innovation in Maryland and what is needed to supercharge Maryland’s economy.

Where We Are & Where We’re Going: The 2014 election will change Maryland’s political landscape. We will have a new Governor, and the turnover in the General Assembly could be as high as 30 percent. Learn more about the coalition’s competitiveness agenda and how you can help promote economic growth and job creation.
