The Friends of Wicomico Public Libraries hosted the Third Annual Light of Literacy Awards on Thursday, April 9th at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury.
The morning included a beautiful performance from Salisbury University’s Squawkappella and a delicious breakfast provided by the Civic Center. Keynote Speaker Matt Maciarello brought the impact of literacy to full light in his address. Best of all, many individuals and organizations’ stories of supporting literacy in our community were honored. Congratulations to all of our nominees and award winners!
