The 2015 United Way Valentine’s Carnival for local children was held on Saturday, February 14th at The Salvation Army Richard Hazel Youth Center. Featuring games and prizes, arts and crafts, mascots, books to take home and even a juggling show, the Carnival gave children in our community a Valentine’s Day to remember.
The 2015 United Way Valentine’s Carnival at The Salvation Army Richard Hazel Youth Center was a huge hit for local children featuring games, arts and crafts, mascots and even a fire juggling show from Carlos Mir, AKA “Cascading Carlos.” Pictured is Mir teaching a carnival attendee the art of plate spinning.
Salisbury University’s mascot, Sammy the Seagull, flew in to the recent United Way Valentine’s Carnival for local children. Pictured is Carnival volunteer, Monty Montasser, giving a child a boost to high-five Sammy the Seagull.
