The Salisbury Horizons/Crown Kids Fund Charity Dodgeball Tournament will be held from 6 pm – 9 pm on October 16 at Crown Sports Center in Fruitland.
“This is a great opportunity to relive the thrill of gym class dodgeball while helping children in our community create their own amazing memories,” said Cole Lacey Executive Director Crown Sports Center.
The event includes a round robin tournament with adult and youth divisions, event tee-shirt, championship trophies, and an after party. All proceeds will benefit academic enrichment programs designed to transform lives caught in the achievement gap through Salisbury Horizons, and grant sports and camp scholarships for disadvantaged youth through the Crown Kids Fund.
“The tournament gives everyone the opportunity to have some fun and support local charities at the same time,” said Dr. Harlan Eagle, Executive Director Salisbury Horizons, “We’re hoping to spice it up this year and encourage local businesses and organizations to team up to compete against each other.”
The cost is $200 per team (up to 10 players) and will include a youth division for children up to 13 years old, and an adult division for ages 14 years and older.
