On Saturday, May 20th from 4:30 to 7:30pm, RPS ISG International, in partnership with United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, will host the ULTIMATE Preakness Party and viewing of the 142nd running of the Preakness Stakes at EVO Public House. Proceeds from the event will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset and Dorchester counties.
The cost of the event is $35.00 per person and includes one hour of open bar, food, games, prizes, music and corn hole (weather permitting). Guests are encouraged to dress festively for the event and prizes will be awarded for the most creative attire.
Founded locally by United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, the Imagination Library addresses the educational and developmental gap between low and middle income children, the literacy rate, and kindergarten readiness through a focus on reading, social and emotional development, and parental involvement. Upon registering with the Imagination Library, children ages birth to 5, receive one home-delivered book each month. The program is free of charge to all families enrolled.
