Free Outdoor Musical Theatre Performance in Downtown Salisbury
Salisbury, MD: The Brown Box Theatre Group will once again bring theatre to Downtown Salisbury this week, this time presenting a musical in a free outdoor performance! The performance is scheduled for this Thursday March 25th, 2017 at 7:30pm, and will take place on North Division Street in front of the Government Office Building located at 125 N. Division Street in Salisbury, MD. The performance is completely free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. The show is weather dependent, and will be held in Headquarters Live in the event of rain. 
“It’s about one moment.” Songs for a New World, a musical by Jason Robert Brown, weaves together the stories and voices of a diverse cast of characters in a musical journey that transcends time and space. A soaring, vibrant score transports the audience through a mesmerizing exploration of the unknown world and the tough choices that follow. Bursting with life and discovery, Songs for a New World begs to be liberated from the walls of a theater, and will be presented at over 10 outdoor venues throughout Massachusetts and Delmarva as Brown Box’s premier musical spectacular.
