Imagine a litter free Salisbury! The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Beautification committee (under the Stash Your Trash halo), has made it their mission – but not without help from local businesses, community organizations and support from the City of Salisbury.
A “Litter Free Zone” checklist will be distributed to chamber members and made available in the chamber office for community organizations to access. By initiating and checking off multiple litter free tasks on the list, a business/organization earns the “Litter Free Zone” designation and will receive an official certificate from the chamber in addition to external promotion. The chamber will recognize all businesses who make the commitment to meeting “Litter Free” initiatives in the Salisbury Business Journal and other local media outlets.
