What: Red White and BOOM – Salisbury’s free community fireworks display
When: Friday, the 4th of July (Raindate, July 5th)
Where: Fireworks will be launched at Bennett Middle School athletic field at approximately 9:15 p.m.
What Else: Vendors – selling ice cream and snow cones and hot dogs and hamburgers and tasty treats – will be set up at JMB High, on the JMB soccer/field hockey field. The vendor area is open to the public and begins at 6:30. Music will be on site too. And the Salisbury Fire Department ladder truck – hanging a massive US flag – will be at JMB too.
Where to Park? – All of the parking at JMB High is open to the public. The parking lot between JMB High and Bennett Middle School (near the auditorium) is open. All of the parking lots at nearby Salisbury University are open to the public as well.
Where to sit and watch? – The MAIN viewing area will be at JMB High. Most of Salisbury University is also open for lawn chairs and blankets. There is plenty of parking in and near JMB and SU area. So just find a spot that works for you and your family, and look up to enjoy the fireworks.
