Village of Hope Annual Crab Feast

Enjoy unlimited blue crabs, corn on the cob, watermelon and other summer favorites while helping the homeless of the Lower Eastern Shore. The fourth annual Village of Hope Crab Feast will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014, hosted by Ron and Catherine Smoot Haselnus in Bivalve.

Tickets are $50 per person and include all-you-can-eat steamed crabs, summer side dishes, desserts, wine and beer. To make a reservation, visit www.villageofhope.usand click on “Events.” Tickets for children under 12 are $10. The party runs from 4 until 8 p.m.
“This is an easy way for people to support a local non-profit, enjoy great food and spend time with friends,” said T.J. Maloney,
event organizer. “We are grateful to Ron and Catherine for once again opening their Bivalve home to us and hosting this great party.” 200 tickets will be sold for the event.
The Village of Hope is a non-profit, non-denominational transitional home for woman and children serving Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties. The Village of Hope is located on Lake St. in Salisbury and currently houses 11 families.
