Salisbury, MD – Junior Achievement is thrilled to introduce its newest initiative for 2024, the ’18 Under 18′ program, designed to recognize and celebrate the exceptional young individuals shaping the future of the Eastern Shore communities.
In today’s fast-paced world, with numerous challenges facing the youth, Junior Achievement aims to bring communities together to honor those students who exemplify leadership, innovation, and strive to make a positive impact daily.
The recipients of the 2024 ’18 Under 18′ awards have been selected with great enthusiasm. These outstanding individuals will be celebrated at a special event hosted at the Perdue Henson Junior Achievement Center on April 18, 2024. Thanks to the generous support of our local community partners, each recipient will receive a scholarship award along with other exciting prizes to enjoy within their communities.
Nominated by their peers and carefully chosen by a committee consisting of education professionals, business leaders, and community members from the Eastern Shore, the recipients were evaluated based on a comprehensive rubric covering key four categories; leadership qualities, community involvement, extraordinary skills & talents and intangible qualities.
“We are excited to announce the recipients of the 2024 ’18 Under 18′ awards,” said Erin Williamson, Sr. Advancement Manager at Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore. “It’s incredibly inspiring to see so many talented and driven young individuals from the Eastern Shore emerging as future leaders, change-makers, and innovators in our communities.”
Stay connected with us on our social media channels as we embark on a countdown to the celebration. Get to know each of the 18 recipients and the positive impact they make in their communities every day.
