The SACC is thrilled every time we can celebrate the ribbon cutting of a new store in our community. On June 27th, we were welcomed by Sindy Seraphin, owner of Mind Body Changes, to celebrate her storefront, located at 229 Florida Ave in Salisbury, MD.
Mind Body Changes, a woman, and minority-owned store is conveniently located less than a minute from Route 13 and very close to TidalHealth. This strategic location makes it easily accessible for our community members.
Walking into the store brings immediate peace to your soul, but what makes it so special is Sindy welcoming you with a huge smile.
Originally from Haiti, she speaks perfect English, Spanish, and Creole; has a bubbly personality, and loves to share her love for life. The concept for Mind Body Changes, started developing after the birth of her second child when she gained a lot of weight and felt like another person. “I started juicing and I felt like my body was changing, and I got on the scale and realized I was losing weight by doing this. Everyone started saying that I was glowing, that my skin was changing, and asking what I was doing. My answer was simply, I am juicing, and I am losing. If this was such a good thing for me, why not share it with everyone? I decided to get more education on juicing and herbs, and the concept of this store started. But I realized that the change also started in my mind. If you want the change, it happens, and this is where the name of the business comes from… Mind Body Changes.”
Mind Body Changes is committed to help you understand how extraordinary the power of your mind is by drinking and eating right; how it can transform your body and provide you with the tools-support needed to achieve your wellness goals.
