Dr. Mattar received his medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon; he completed his internal medicine residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Ind.; he completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Georgetown University-Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.; and earned his master’s degree in finance from Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz., where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society.
Dr. Mattar is board-certified in gastroenterology and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association. He has many years of clinical experience and has been involved in several research projects and publications in the field of gastrointestinal diseases.
When he is not seeing patients, he is an avid reader and tennis enthusiast and cherishes time with family and friends.
