Jail and Correctional Officers Graduate

Somerset graduates

Twenty-nine jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Caroline and Talbot counties graduated in the 120th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Don Satterfield, director of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections. Donald Rollyson Jr., associate director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Eric Weaver of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center was the class speaker.

In addition to Weaver, graduates included Christine Collins, Daniel Deleon-Ortiz, Tamya Stanford, Teirra Thomas and Chavez Watson-Henry of Wicomico County Department of Corrections; Lauren Lintz and Lucas Webster of the Ocean City Police Department; Alexander Bjork, Autumn Harris and Shanell Taylor of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center; Gawhar Abdelmagid Mohamed, Justin Byrd, Devin Coulbourn Sr., Timothy Donalds, Elmer Gamez-Alfonso, Markayla Godwin, LaWayne Harris, Noelson Jean Pierre, Acantha Joseph, Keisha Miles, Shar’Nell Miles, Maria Teresa Pastor and Stanley Saint Jean of Eastern Correctional Institution; Alexander Fehsenfeld and Don Kinnamon Jr. of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections;  Kendall Reed of the Caroline County Department of Corrections; and Bryan Lamontagne and Randy Scott of the Talbot County Department of Corrections.
