Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury is excited to announce upcoming upgrades to the playground equipment at Doverdale Park, as part of the City’s continued commitment to improving public spaces and enhancing recreational opportunities for all residents.
Demolition of the current playground equipment is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30. Installation of the new equipment is set to begin the week of May 5. During construction, the playground area of the park will be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of all visitors and to allow for a smooth installation process. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, barring any unforeseen events.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve our parks and make them safe, welcoming, and fun for families,” said Mayor Randy Taylor. “Upgrading Doverdale Park is just one of the ways we’re working to make life better for everyone in Salisbury.”
The City appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation during the construction period. Residents will be kept informed through regular updates on the progress of the project via the City’s website, social media channels, and community newsletters.
