
The Advisory Board of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is proud to announce the recipients for the second year of our scholarship program 2025/2026. The scholarship is available to Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce members and their families.
The objective of the Foundation Scholarship Fund is to further each recipient’s education at a certified college, professional, technical, vocational, or business school that will enhance the recipient’s ability to impact the Delmarva business community positively.
The award is $1,000 yearly for up to four years of study or a one-time award for trade scholarships.

Julia Dyer
Julia lives in East New Market, MD, and works at Paws Doggie Daycare. She is attending Salisbury University, majoring in health science with minors in biology and chemistry. Julia is studying to become a veterinarian. She volunteers at the Wicomico Humane Society and Baywater Humane Societies.
Alaynah Martin
Alaynah is a biology major and a Richard A. Henson Honors Program student at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She is entering her junior year after transferring from Wor-Wic Community College. Having spent her life on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Alaynah is dedicated to building a lifelong career in the region. She serves her local community as an EMT and plans to attend graduate school to study Epidemiology. In January, she traveled to Ghana to study maternal health, further strengthening her passion for global and community health initiatives.
Tyler Staffeldt
Tyler is a first-year student at Salisbury University majoring in computer science, focusing on computer networks and cyber security. He is active in SU’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Living Learning Community (LLC) and participates in intramural sports. In addition to balancing academics and extracurriculars, he works both on campus and at a locally owned restaurant.
The Salisbury Area Chamber Foundation Scholarship Fund was established with significant support from the Pohanka Automotive Group of Salisbury and past board presidents Memo Diriker and Stephanie Willey.
