Salisbury, MD — BayRunner Shuttle, Maryland’s trusted transportation solution, proudly marks 20 years of service, providing safe, clean, and relaxing shuttle transportation to BWI Marshall Airport, BWI Amtrak, and the Baltimore Greyhound Bus Station. To commemorate this milestone, BayRunner Shuttle hosted a special ribbon-cutting and networking event on May 21, 2025, at its headquarters in Salisbury, MD, in partnership with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce.
The celebration brought together dignitaries, business leaders, friends, family, and key members of the BayRunner team, including co-owner Caroline Presburg, Operations Managers Rachel Turner and Kristen Shockey, along with dedicated drivers and dispatchers. Attendees had the opportunity to explore BayRunner’s transportation fleet and learn more about its extensive services, including seven daily round trips between Salisbury and Baltimore.
While co-owner John Presburg was unable to attend, he sent his heartfelt congratulations with his daughter Caroline Presburg. “Twenty years ago, we turned a dream into reality by launching a group shuttle service to BWI Airport. We started with just seven drivers and one office employee. Today, our team includes more than 40 drivers and 10 office personnel across our locations in Salisbury and Frederick. Our service now spans Maryland from Ocean City to Grantsville, covering over 350 miles. To date, we have transported over 400,000 passengers. This success would not have been possible without the dedication of our incredible team, past and present.”
BayRunner Shuttle was honored with several citations recognizing its contributions to the community. Alyssa Hastings presented a citation on behalf of U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, while Delegate Barry Beauchamp represented the Wicomico County Delegation with a special acknowledgment. Senator Mary Beth Carozza will formally present an official citation later in the month.
Guests enjoyed light fare courtesy of Salisbury Pit & Pub, along with beer and wine, contributing to the festive atmosphere. Exciting prizes added to the fun, with attendees participating in activities such as “spinning the wheel” and guessing the number of driving hours completed by longtime driver Dave over two decades. The grand prize, a $150 transportation gift certificate, highlighted the evening.
