Crisfield, MD — The Crisfield Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 48th Annual J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake, taking place on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Somers Cove Marina, located at 715 Broadway Ave, Crisfield, MD.
Named for Crisfield native and Maryland’s 54th Governor, J. Millard Tawes, the Crab & Clam Bake began in 1976 and has grown into a political and cultural mainstay—drawing residents and officials statewide to celebrate Chesapeake Bay’s bounty.
This iconic Eastern Shore event invites esteemed seafood lovers from near and far to indulge in an all-you-can-eat seafood extravaganza featuring fresh steamed Maryland Blue crabs, clams (steamed, fried or raw), fried fish, fries, onion rings, corn, watermelon and unlimited ice-cold beer and soft drinks. Come and enjoy this tradition where old friends get together, hobnob with influential politicians and changemakers and enjoy social camaraderie!
Along with corporate sponsored tents, there are $75.00 tickets available for General Admission help-yourself, with picnic tables under the pavilion and $110.00 VIP “Crab Trap” table seating under a large tent with servers.
