Law Enforcement Class Graduates

Worcester County law enforcement graduates

Twenty law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Talbot, Caroline and Queen Anne’s counties graduated in the 95th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, featured a commencement address by Chief Raymond Austin of the Ocean Pity Police Department.

John C. Moses, director of criminal justice at Wor-Wic, Donald Rollyson Jr., associate director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Awards of certification and excellence were presented by agency representatives. Jason Smith of the Fruitland Police Department was the class speaker.

In addition to Smith, graduates included Coale Lenox of the Salisbury University Police Department; Matthew Brown of the Salisbury Police Department; Joseph Corbett and Evan Wilson of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office; Damian Paul of the Pocomoke City Police Department; Charles Foy, Alessia Matha, Haley Schafer, Drake Swanger, Shaakira White and Connor Wisniewski of the Ocean City Police Department; Josie Burkhead of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office; Fisher Lloyd and William Miller of the Princess Anne Police Department; Zachary Neilson of the Crisfield Police Department; Garrett Clark of the Caroline County Sheriff’s Department; Alejandro Saldana of the Easton Police Department; and Michael Buffum and Nathan Porter of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.
