Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake’s annual fundraiser “Bowl For Kids’ Sake” is fast approaching. The funds from this event allow us to help disadvantaged youths who are coping with poverty or a difficult home life. Your contributions to us directly support the programs that create a measureable difference in a local child’s life.
The event will be held on March 19th at Cherokee Lanes, 1524 Salisbury Blvd, from 6:30- 8:30 p.m.
To add a little flair, come dressed in your most festive St. Patty’s day gear! Prizes will be given out to the most festive dressed, highest funds raised by an individual bowler, and highest score bowled by one person from the event. Participants will also receive pizza, drinks, two hours of bowling, shoe rentals, and a t-shirt! There will also be trivia and games, and prizes will be handed out to those winners too.
To get involved, sign up with a team of six online at www.biglittle.org/BFKSES2014. Each bowler is asked to raise a minimum of $50, so get family, friends, and co-workers involved.
