esmom-1

Salisbury, MD — The Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy, a free adult dental clinic, is returning to the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland on Friday March 27 and Saturday March 28, 2026.  Adults can receive free dental care, with no insurance or pre-registration required.  Dental services are provided by licensed dentists and hygienists from all over the state, who volunteer their time, alongside hundreds of community volunteers.

Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, until clinic capacity is reached.  Doors open at 6:00 a.m. with patients often lining up several hours before the clinic opens.  Patients can receive x-rays, cleanings, fillings, select root canals and select extractions at no cost. Patients that require antibiotics or other medication will receive a prescription voucher that can be filled at the on-site pharmacy and will be provided with follow-up care, if needed.  Patients must be 18 years or older. Children are not permitted on the clinic floor and must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy is made possible through the funding support of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, the Delta Dental Foundation, and the Wicomico Partnership of Families – the local Management Board for Wicomico County. It is produced through a local volunteer leadership team in partnership with the Eastern Shore Dental Society, the Maryland State Dental Association’s Educational Foundation and the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.  For more information visit Easternshoremom.org.
