
Salisbury, MD — Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore (JAES) announced today that experienced nonprofit executive JJ Skyler has officially assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2026. Following a comprehensive search by the Board of Directors, Skyler steps into the role to lead the organization’s strategic vision, expand regional impact, and innovate workforce readiness across the Shore.

Her ability to strengthen partnerships, build operational capacity, and think boldly about the future of workforce readiness makes her uniquely suited to lead this work at such an important moment for our students, educators, businesses, and communities across the Shore.”
Ms. Skyler joins Junior Achievement with an extensive background in executive leadership, most recently serving as a regional Executive Director where she successfully cultivated strong corporate partnerships, elevated stakeholder relationships, and drove strategic growth. A specialized expert in the sector, JJ holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Nonprofit Management. Her career has been defined by a commitment to modernizing operational frameworks and scaling community impact, making her uniquely equipped to lead JA of the Eastern Shore into its next chapter.

I see JA as a key element of our regional economic development engine; it will be crucial that we work together to build relevant programs for both businesses and our youth as we navigate this new workforce terrain. I am excited to work alongside our team, educators, and leaders to ensure every student on the Shore is equipped to thrive.”
In the coming weeks, Ms. Skyler will begin engaging directly with local community stakeholders to align immediate strategic goals with the evolving needs of the Eastern Shore workforce and the youth of our communities.
