Occupational Therapy Assistant Students Participate in Ceremony

Wor-Wic Community College recently graduated 11 occupational therapy assistant students. The department held an awards and recognition ceremony to signal completion of the occupational therapy assistant program and an official invitation into the profession.
Courtnee McKenzie of Salisbury was the student speaker, and Stuart Gibbs, former fieldwork coordinator and instructor of the occupational therapy assistant program, delivered the keynote address. Pins were bestowed on the graduates by James Miller, the current fieldwork coordinator and instructor.
Along with McKenzie, the graduates included Tyesha Adams-Tilghman of Princess Anne, Trushay Alston of Trappe, Katherine Brown, Melissa Bugner, Erika Lowicki and Marissa Murray of Salisbury, Julia Cope of Snow Hill, Lenasia Flannary of Royal Oak, Ebony Hall of Fruitland and Jordyn Tingle of Parsonsburg.
